Statute: Health Research Foundation Act Civil Service Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health dated October 31, 2008, and pursuant to Sections 6 and 7 of

Chapter 14 of the Acts of 1998, the Health Research Foundation Act, and

Section 44A of

Chapter 70 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Civil Service Act, is pleased to: (

a) reappoint Richard Singer of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member of the Board of Directors of the Health Research Foundation for a term commencing November 25, 2008 and expiring on October 31, 2011; (

b) appoint Colin J. McLaren of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member of the Board of Directors of the Health Research Foundation for a term commencing November 25, 2008 and expiring on October 31, 2011; (

c) revoke the appointment of Colleen Elliott of Truro, Colchester County, as a member and Chair of the Board of Directors of the Health Research Foundation made by Order in Council 2007-310 dated May 30, 2007; (

d) revoke the appointment of Dr. Jean Gray of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of the Health Research Foundation made by Order in Council 2007-310 dated May 30, 2007; (

e) appoint Dr. Jean Gray of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Health Research Foundation for a term commencing November 25, 2008 and expiring on May 31, 2010.
