OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture dated July 4, 2022, and pursuant to

Section 6 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, is pleased, effective January 17, 2023, to approve the Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture entering into an amendment agreement with the Governments of Canada, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Prince Edward Island to amend the Atlantic Framework Agreement for the Atlantic Fisheries Fund Program (the "Atlantic Framework Agreement") and the bilateral (Canada-Nova Scotia) funding agreement (the "bilateral funding agreement”) that is Annex 3 of the Atlantic Framework Agreement, as approved by Order in Council 2018-94 dated March 29, 2018, to extend by a term of two (2) years, until March 31, 2026, the duration of the Atlantic Framework Agreement and the bilateral funding agreement, as well as Nova Scotia's annual contribution commitments under the bilateral funding agreement, substantially in the form and including all Schedules, as set forth in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, subject only to such variations as do not materially change the amendment agreement.
