CHAPTER

An Act to amend The Farmers’ Counselling and Assistance Act (Assented to December 24, 1986) HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:

Short title This Act may be cited as The Farmers’ Counselling and Assistance Amendment Act, 1986. S.S. 1983-84, c.F-9.1,

section amended

Section of The Farmers’ Counselling and Assistance Act is amended: (

a) by repealing clause (3) (

a) and substituting the following: “(

a) the guaranteed loan was made on or after the coming into force of this Act and prior to December 31, 1987 or, where an order is made pursuant to subsection (3.1), the further date that is specified in the order”; and (

b) by adding the following subsections after sub section (3): “

(3.1) Subject to subsection (3.2), the Lieutenant Governor in Council may, by order, extend the period mentioned in clause (3)(

a) to any further date that is specified in the order. “

(3.2) The latest date that the Lieutenant Governor in Council may specify in an order made pursuant to subsection (3.1) is December 31, 1989”. REGINA, SASKATCHEWAN Printed by the authority of THE QUEEN’S PRINTER
