Interpretation Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Addictions and Mental Health dated March 28, 2025, and pursuant to

Section 65 of

Chapter 42 of the Acts of 2005, the Involuntary Psychiatric Treatment Act , and

Section 18 of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act , hereby: (

a) revokes the appointment of Gregg Knudsen of Halifax Regional Municipality as a lawyer member and designated Chair of the Review Board, made by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 2023-322 dated November 16, 2023, effective April 8, 2025; and (

b) designates John Boddie of Halifax Regional Municipality as Chair of the Review Board commencing April 8, 2025, and expiring October 31, 2025.
