Made by the Lieutenant Governor in Council (O.C. 30/96) pursuant to

sections 16 and 17 of the Government Organization Act.

1 The Designation and Transfer of Responsibility Regulation (Alta. Reg.

398/94) is amended by this Regulation.

2 The following is added after

section 2:

2.1(1) The administration of the Franchises Act is transferred to

the Minister of Municipal Affairs.

(2) The administration of that part of the public service consisting

of position 2705-0234 is transferred to the administration of the Minister

of Municipal Affairs.

Section 1(

n) of the Treasury Department Administrative Transfer Order

(Alta. Reg. 402/92) is repealed.

KAKWA WILDLAND PROVINCIAL PARK

7 of the Provincial Parks Act.

1 The lands described in the

Schedule of Lands are designated as a

provincial park to be known as Kakwa Wildland Provincial Park.

SCHEDULE OF LANDS

KAKWA WILDLAND PROVINCIAL PARK

All that parcel or tract of land, situate, lying and being in the Province

of Alberta, Canada, and being more particularly described as follows:

Commencing at the intersection of the Alberta-British Columbia boundary

with the height of land between the Kakwa River to the north and the Smoky

River to the south, being the most northwesterly limit of the Willmore

Wilderness Park;

Thence northerly along the said Alberta-British Columbia boundary to its

intersection with the height of land between the Torrens River to the north

and the said Kakwa River to the south;

Thence generally northerly and southeasterly along the said height of land

to the summit of an unnamed mountain in the north east quarter of

section

twenty-seven (27) in unsurveyed township fifty-nine (59), range twelve

(12), west of the sixth (6) meridian;

Thence generally southeasterly down the slope along the height of land to

its intersection with the said Kakwa River in the north east quarter of

section thirteen (13) in the said unsurveyed township, and continuing

southeasterly up the slope along the height of land to the summit of an

unnamed mountain in the east half of

section five (5) in unsurveyed

township fifty-nine (59), range eleven (11), west of the sixth (6)

meridian;

Thence generally southwesterly and southeasterly along the height of land

between Falls Creek to the west and Copton Creek to the east to the summit

of an unnamed mountain in the north east quarter of

section twenty (20) in

unsurveyed township fifty-eight (58), range eleven (11), west of the sixth

(6) meridian;

Thence generally southeasterly down the slope along the height of land and

continuing southeasterly up the slope along the height of land to the

summit of an unnamed mountain in the north west quarter of

section fifteen

(15) in the said unsurveyed township fifty-eight (58), range eleven (11),

west of the sixth (6) meridian, being a point on the northerly boundary of

the said Willmore Wilderness Park;

Thence generally southwesterly and northwesterly along the said northerly

boundary of Willmore Wilderness Park to the point of commencement.

The lands herein described contain sixty-four thousand nine hundred

twenty-eight (64,928) hectares (160,435 acres), more or less.

AMENDMENT REGULATION

Made by the Deputy Minister of Energy (M.O. 2/96) pursuant to

section 6 of

the Natural Gas Royalty Regulation, 1994 (Alta. Reg. 351/93).

1 The Prescribed Amounts (Natural Gas Royalty) Regulation (Alta. Reg.

36/95) is amended by this Regulation.

Section 4 is amended by adding the following after subsection (11):

(12) The following prices are prescribed for the November, 1995

production month:

Credit Union Act

CREDIT UNION (PRINCIPAL) AMENDMENT REGULATION

Made by the Lieutenant Governor in Council (O.C. 50/96) pursuant to

section

226 of the Credit Union Act.

1 The Credit Union (Principal) Regulation (Alta. Reg. 249/89) is amended

by this Regulation.

Section 69 is amended

(

a) in subsection (2)

(

i) in clause (

b) by striking out "and" at the end;

(ii) by adding the following after clause (c):

(

d) providing credit card services to

members of credit unions and of corporations referred to in

section 66 that

are members of Central, and

(

e) any business, where the subsidiary or

affiliate is a corporation referred to in

section 66(b).

(

b) by adding the following after subsection (2):

(2.1) For the purposes of

section 167(1) (as it incorporates

section

46(5)) of the Act, a subsidiary or affiliate of Central is entitled to

engage in the business of lending money in the course of a business

referred to in subsection (2)(d).

1 The Prescribed Amounts (Petroleum Royalty) Regulation (Alta. Reg.

47/93) is amended by this Regulation.

Section 40 is amended by adding the following after clause (d):

(d.1) the new oil par price is $142.60 per cubic metre;
