OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal, dated December 11, 2019, and pursuant to

Section 21 of

Chapter 371 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Highways Act is pleased to designate as a controlled access highway the following sections of highway in the County of Hants: (

a) A road known as the Ben Jackson Connector, starting at the intersection of the centerlines of the Ben Jackson Connector and Trunk 1, and heading in a southerly direction a distance of approximately 755 metres to the intersection of the centerlines of the Ben Jackson Connector and the Ben Jackson Road; (

b) Two sections of Trunk 1, starting at the intersection of the centerlines of Trunk 1 and the Ben Jackson Connector, and proceeding 60 m in an easterly, and 60 m in a westerly direction along Trunk 1; (

c) Two sections of the Ben Jackson Road, starting at the intersections of the centerlines of the Ben Jackson Connector and Ben Jackson Road, and proceeding 60 m in an easterly direction, and 60 m in a westerly direction along Ben Jackson Road; (

d) All of the interchange ramps at Exit 8A, otherwise known as the Ben Jackson Interchange, on Highway 101; (

e) The roundabout at the intersection of the Ben Jackson Connector, the Eastbound on and off ramps from Highway 101, and a new road to be known as Sweetgrass Road; (

f) A

section of a new road to be known as Sweetgrass Road, starting at the centre of the abovenamed roundabout, a distance of 120 m along Sweetgrass Road; as indicated on

Schedule “A”, attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation.
