CHAPTER

An Act to amend The Fatal Accidents Act (Assented to May 17, 2007) HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan, enacts as follows:

Short title This Act may be cited as The Fatal Accidents Amendment Act, 2007. R.S.S. 1978, c.F-11 amended The Fatal Accidents Act is amended in the manner set forth in this Act.

Section 4.1 amended Clause 4.1(2)(

c) is amended by striking out “ minor”. Transitional 4(1) Subject to subsection (2), the amendment to The Fatal Accidents Act being enacted by this Act applies to all deaths occurring on or after August 1, 2004.

(2) The amendment to The Fatal Accidents Act being enacted by this Act does not apply to actions: (

a) in which judgment is given before the coming into force of this Act; or (
