B.C. Reg. 150/2013 , deposited March 28, 2013, pursuant to the CARBON TAX ACT [section 84], the MOTOR FUEL TAX ACT [section 71], the PROVINCIAL SALES TAX ACT [section 241], the SOUTH COAST BRITISH COLUMBIA TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY ACT [section 169.6] and the TOBACCO TAX ACT [section 44]. Order in Council 196/2013, approved and ordered March 27, 2013.
On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Administrator, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective April 1, 2013, the Consular Tax Exemption Regulation, B.C. Reg. 127/2008, is amended as set out in the Schedule.

Schedule
Section 2 of the Consular Tax Exemption Regulation, B.C. Reg. 127/2008, is amended
(
a) in paragraph (
a) by adding “ and administrative and technical staff ” after “ diplomatic agents ”,
(
b) by repealing paragraph (
b) and substituting the following:
(
d) in paragraph (
d) by striking out “ administrative and support staff ” and substituting “ career consular employees ”.
Section 3 is repealed and the following substituted:
Persons who are not exempt
Section 1 does not apply to the following persons:
(
a) Canadian citizens;
(
b) permanent residents as defined in the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (Canada);
(
c) honorary consular officers.
