Under the authority of

section 4 of the Provincial Parks Act

and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act

, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council proclaims the area described in the

Schedule to be a provincial park.

Schedule

All that piece or parcel of land situate and being at Deadman's Bay in the province, abutted and bounded as follows, that is to say:

Beginning at a point in the easterly limit of a road, 20.1 metres wide, leading to Salt Water Pond, that point being distant 175.1 metres as measured on a bearing of south 69 51' 40 east from the centre of the concrete bridge spanning South Brook crossing the highway extending between Lumsden and Deadman's Bay;

Then running by land claimed by Raymond and Edward Chaulk south 82 40' east 23.8 metres, and then north 22 01' east 42.3 metres;

Then running by that land in possession of Raymond and Edward Chaulk and by Crown land south 49 34' east 158.7 metres;

Then running by Crown land north 26 56' east 16.3 metres, and then north 8 42' east 117.3 metres, and then south 80 11' east 227.3 metres, and then south 67 04' east 168.3 metres;

Then running by land claimed by George West and Kenneth Chaulk south 72 50' east 80.9 metres, and then south 71 14' east 250.4 metres, and then south 63 14' east 39.3 metres, more or less;

Then running by Crown land north 26 45' east 53.2 metres;

Then running along the westerly shore of Deadman's Bay at low water mark to a point being distant 2,977.5 metres as measured on a bearing of north 8 21' west from the last mentioned point;

Then running by Crown land north 62 56' minutes west 52.6 metres, and then south 47 36' west 137.1 metres, and then south 55 57' west 379.6 metres;

Then running along the easterly shore of Salt Water Pond at low water mark to a point being distant 2,380.7 metres as measured on a bearing of south 1 58' west from the last mentioned point;

Then running along the easterly limit of that road south 18 35' east 43.8 metres, and then south 9 35' east 43.8 metres, and then south 9 35' east 38 metres, more or less, to the point of beginning and containing an area of 72 hectares, more or less.

All bearings being magnetic.
