Statute: Dispensing Opticians Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health and Wellness, dated February 5, 2019, and pursuant to

Section 5 of

Chapter 39 of the Acts of 2005, the Dispensing Opticians Act , is pleased to: (

a) appoint Anne Wilcox of Cape Breton Regional Municipality (Glace Bay) to serve as a public representative on the Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia College of Dispensing Opticians for a term of three years commencing March 1, 2019; (

b) reappoint Graham Sweett of Halifax Regional Municipality (Stillwater Lake) to serve as a public representative on the Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia College of Dispensing Opticians for a term of two years commencing March 1, 2019; and (

c) reappoint Marion Landers-Ripley of Amherst, Cumberland County, to serve as a public representative on the Board of Directors of the Nova Scotia College of Dispensing Opticians for a term of one-year commencing March 1, 2019.
