OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Environment and Labour dated November 28, 2003, and pursuant to subsections 151(1), (2), (3) and (5), 152(2) and 153(1) and (2) of

Chapter 10 of the Acts of Nova Scotia, 1994-95, the Workers' Compensation Act, is pleased to: (

a) reappoint Gary Dean of Bedford, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a management member of the Workers' Compensation Board for a term of one (1) year commencing October 1, 2003, and ending September 30, 2004; (

b) reappoint James E. Melvin of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a management member of the Workers' Compensation Board for a term of three (3) years commencing January 1, 2004, and ending December 31, 2006; (

c) reappoint Charlene Long of Antigonish, Antigonish County, as a labour member of the Workers' Compensation Board for a term of three (3) years commencing October 1, 2003, and ending September 30, 2006; (

d) reappoint James J. White of Windsor, Hants County, as a non-voting member of the Workers' Compensation Board, representing the public at large, for a term of three (3) years commencing January 1, 2004, and ending December 31, 2006; and (

e) fix the remuneration of Gary Dean, James E. Melvin, Charlene Long and James J. White at the rate of $150.00 per day for each day spent in attendance at a meeting of the Workers' Compensation Board, plus actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by them in the discharge of their duties.
