Order in Council 642/2025

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Supporting Children's Futures Act, 2024

July 1, 2025 is named as the day on which the following provisions of the Supporting Children’s Futures Act, 2024 , c. 17, which amend the Child, Youth and Family Services Act, 2017 , come into force:

s. 1, 6-25, 29, 31, 32.

July 1, 2025 is named as the day on which the following provision of the Supporting Children’s Futures Act, 2024 , c. 17, which amends the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014 , comes into force:

s. 35.

July 1, 2025 is named as the day on which the following provisions of the Supporting Children’s Futures Act, 2024 , c. 17, which amend the Intercountry Adoption Act, 1998 , come into force:

s. 36 (2), (3).
