Statute: Public Service Act Public Service Superannuation Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Economic Development dated January 24, 2006, pursuant to

Section 25M of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act,

Section 18 of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act, and

Section 2 of

Chapter 377 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Superannuation Act, is pleased to: (

a) appoint Craig D. MacLaughlan as Chief Executive Officer of the Emergency Management Office; (

b) direct that he shall receive all customary benefits associated with the position of deputy head including participation in the Province of Nova Scotia Long Term Disability Plan; (

c) designate Craig D. MacLaughlan to be and to have been an employee for the purposes of the Public Service Superannuation Act; and (

d) fix and determine the salary of Craig D. MacLaughlan to be paid at such rate as may be determined from time to time by the Deputy Minister of the Office of the Premier in accordance with the MCP 30 pay plan.
