OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture dated January 7, 2014, and pursuant to

Section 31 of

Chapter 33 of the Acts of 2008, the Animal Protection Act , is pleased to: (

a) appoint Trevor Lawson of Halifax Regional Municipality Carroll’s Corner) as a member and the Chair of the Animal Cruelty Appeal Board for a term of 3 years commencing February 24, 2015; (

b) appoint Robert Pineo of Cooks Brook, Hants County, as a member of the Animal Cruelty Appeal Board for a term of 3 years commencing February 24, 2015; (

c) order that Trevor Lawson be remunerated for his service in the amount of $200 per day, and be reimbursed for reasonable expenses actually incurred in fulfilling his duties as a member and Chair, provided such reimbursements do not exceed those normally paid to members of the civil service; (

d) order that Robert Pineo be remunerated for his service in the amount of $150 per day and be reimbursed for reasonable expenses actually incurred in fulfilling his duties as a member, provided such reimbursements do not exceed those normally paid to members of the civil service.
