Statute: Primary Forest Products Marketing Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated March 9, 2004, and pursuant to

Section 4 of

Chapter 355 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Primary Forest Products Marketing Act, is pleased to: (

a) reappoint the following person as a member of the Nova Scotia Primary Forest Products Marketing Board, for a term of office commencing April 1, 2004, and ending March 31, 2006: \x09 Walter MacAlpine of Weymouth, Digby County, as a person not engaged in the production, marketing or processing of primary forest products; (

b) reappoint the following persons as alternate members of the Nova Scotia Primary Forest Products Marketing Board for a term of office commencing April 1, 2004, and ending March 31, 2006: \x09 Jonathan Porter of Liverpool, Region of Queens Municipality, as a person experienced in the pulp and paper industry; \x09 Stephen Read of Marion Bridge, Cape Breton Regional Municipality, as a person experienced in the sawmill industry; (

c) appoint the following person as a member of the Nova Scotia Primary Forest Products Marketing Board, for a term of office commencing April 1, 2004, and ending March 31, 2006: \x09 David C. Clark of Truro, Colchester County, as a woodlot owner who is not engaged in the sawmill industry or the pulp and paper industry; (

d) reappoint Walter MacAlpine as Chair of the Board during the term of his appointment.
