B.C. Reg. 159/2003, deposited April 4, 2003, pursuant to the COURT RULES ACT [Section 1]. Order in Council 372/2003, approved and ordered April 4, 2003.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Administrator, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that the Provincial Court (Family) Rules, B.C. Reg. 417/98, are amended as set out in the attached Schedule. — P. G. PLANT, Attorney General and Minister Responsible for Treaty Negotiations; G. CAMPBELL, Presiding Member of the Executive Council.

Schedule

1 Rule 1 (2) of the Provincial Court (Family) Rules, B.C. Reg. 417/98, is amended in the definition of "family justice registry" by striking out "Castlegar, Kelowna, Nelson, Rossland," and substituting "Kelowna,".

2 Rule 5 (2) (

a) is amended by striking out "the BC Benefits (Income Assistance) Act , the BC Benefits (Youth Works) Act or the Disability Benefits Program Act " and substituting "the

Employment and Assistance Act or the Employment and Assistance for Persons with Disabilities

Act ".

3 Rule 21 is amended

(

a) in subrule (1), in the definition of "designated registry", by striking out "Burnaby," and adding "Port Coquitlam,", and

(

b) in subrule (4) (c), by striking out "the BC Benefits legislation" and substituting "the

Employment and Assistance Act or the Employment and Assistance for Persons with Disabilities

Act ".

4 Form 2 is amended by striking out "[ ] Minister under the BC Benefits (Income Assistance)

Act , the BC Benefits (Youth Works) Act or the Disability Benefits Program

Act " and substituting "[ ] Minister under the Employment and Assistance Act or the

Employment and Assistance for Persons with Disabilities Act ".

5 Form 4 is amended by striking out the definition of "social assistance" and substituting the following:

"social assistance" includes assistance within the meaning of the

Employment and Assistance Act and the Employment and Assistance for Persons with Disabilities

Act ; .

6 Form 31 is amended

(

a) in

section 3 by striking out "BC Benefits" and substituting "assistance under the

Employment and Assistance Act or the Employment and Assistance for Persons with Disabilities

Act ", and

(

b) under the heading "PARENTING AFTER SEPARATION PROGRAM NOTICE OF REQUIREMENT AND EXEMPTION FORM", in the first item for each of the subheadings " For Applicants:" and "For Respondents", by striking out "Burnaby," and adding "Port Coquitlam,".
