OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated October 9, 2002, pursuant to clause 19(

f) of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act, is pleased to amend Order in Council 2000-555 dated November 3, 2000, respecting an agreement with the Nature Conservancy of Canada as follows: (i)\x09delete from paragraph (b) "$300,000" and substitute "$1,000,000"; (ii)\x09delete from paragraph (

c) the words "of natural areas with a minimum total value of $1,000,000 acquired pursuant to this agreement over the next three years" and substitute with "or conservation easement agreements for lands with a total value of not less than $3,300,000"; and to authorize the Minister of Natural Resources to execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
