B.C. Reg. 43/2007, deposited March 1, 2007, pursuant to the HEALTH ACT [Sections 1 and 8]. Order in Council 112/2007, approved and ordered February 28, 2007.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that the Health Act Communicable Disease Regulation, B.C. Reg. 4/83, is amended

(

a) in

section 1 by repealing the definition of "laboratory"

and replacing it with the following:

"laboratory" means a medical or clinical diagnostic facility, and for the purposes of

section 2 (3) includes the Animal Health Centre, Ministry of Agriculture and Lands, Abbotsford, British Columbia; ,

(

b) in

Schedule A, by adding "H5 and H7 strains of the

Influenza Virus" , and

(

c) in

Schedule B, by striking out "Influenza" and

substituting "Influenza Virus, including the H5 and H7 strains".
