An Act Respecting the Regional Health Authorities Act Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, en- acts as follows: 1 The Regional Health Authorities Act,

chapter R-5.05 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 2002, is amended by repealing subsection 19(4). 2 The Act is amended by repealing subsection 26(1) and substituting the following: 26(1) The board shall be empowered to appoint and terminate the appointment of a chief executive officer, and may set the terms and conditions of a chief executive officer, subject to any parameters established by the Board of Management. 3 The Act is amended by repealing subsection 26(2) and substituting the following: 26(2) The chief executive officer of a regional health authority shall report to the board. 4 Subsection 26(3) of the Act is amended by striking out “Notwithstanding that an appoint- ment is made under subsection (1), and notwith- standing subsection (2), the” and substituting “The”.

chapitre R-5.05 des Lois du Nouveau-Brunswick de est modifiée par l’abrogation du paragra- phe 19(4). 2 La Loi est modifiée par l’abrogation du para- graphe 26(1) et son remplacement par ce qui suit : 26(1) Le conseil a le pouvoir de nommer et de ré- voquer la nomination du directeur d’une régie ré- gionale de la santé, et peut déterminer les modalités et conditions d’emploi dans les limites fixées par le Conseil de gestion. 3 La Loi est modifiée par l’abrogation du para- graphe 26(2) et son remplacement par ce qui suit : 26(2)
