Schedule “A”

The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural

Resources and Renewables dated April 22, 2022, and pursuant to clauses 8(

a) and (

d) of

Chapter 367 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Parks Act , is pleased,

effective June 14, 2022, to

(

a) designate approximately 266 hectares (659 acres) of Crown lands shown outlined in bold

and shaded dark grey on the plan marked

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of

the report and recommendation and declare that it be known as Owls Head Provincial

Park; and

(

b) authorize the Minister of Natural Resources and Renewables to execute such documents

as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
