Order in Council 53/2026

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas , by Order in Council numbered 267/2025, effective March 4, 2025, Dominique Giguère of Aylmer was reappointed as a member and designated as Vice-Chair of the Ontario French-language Educational Communications Authority for a period not exceeding two years;

And

whereas , a vacancy presently exists in the position of Chair of the Ontario French-language Educational Communications Authority;

And

whereas , one of the members appointed by the Lieutenant Governor in Council may be designated as Chair of the Authority;

Now therefore , pursuant to subsection 2 of the Ontario French-language Educational Communications Authority Act, 2008 , as amended,

Dominique Giguère of Aylmer

be reappointed as a member and designated as Chair of the Ontario French-language Educational Communications Authority to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not exceeding three years, effective the date this Order in Council is made;

And , pursuant to

section 2 of the Ontario French-language Educational Communications Authority Act, 2008 , Order in Council 267/2025 is revoked effective the date this Order in Council is made.
