OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice dated December 1, 2009, and pursuant to

Section 5 of

Chapter 17 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Law Reform Commission Act, is pleased to: (

a) appoint Robert J. Currie, as a commissioner of the Law Reform Commission of Nova Scotia for a term of 3 years commencing January 12, 2010; and (

b) order that the Province defend, negotiate or settle claims or charges made against the above appointee and indemnify the above appointee from personal liability in connection with any such claim, provided the Province is satisfied that the claim arises out of the appointee's activities in relation to the appointment and is not based on fraud or criminal activity.
