DESTRUCTION AND DISPOSAL OF DEAD

ANIMALS AMENDMENT REGULATION

Made by the Lieutenant Governor in Council (O.C. 548/2004) on November 4, 2004

pursuant to

section 12 of the Livestock Diseases Act.

1 The Destruction and Disposal of Dead Animals

Regulation (AR 229/2000) is amended by this Regulation.

Section 2(7) is amended by striking out "or" at the end of

clause (b), by adding "or" at the end of clause (

c) and by

adding the following after clause (c):

(

d) in accordance with the directions of an inspector appointed

under the Health of Animals Act (Canada) or under the

Livestock Diseases Act.

Marketing of Agricultural Products Act

BISON PRODUCERS OF ALBERTA MARKETING

AMENDMENT REGULATION

Made by the Bison Producers of Alberta on October 8, 2004 pursuant to

section 26 of

the Marketing of Agricultural Products Act.

1 The Bison Producers of Alberta Marketing Regulation

(AR 188/2000) is amended by this Regulation.

Section 5(3) is repealed and the following is substituted:

(3) Requests for refunds must be received by the Commission at

its official office prior to the end of the 25th day of the 2nd month

following the month in which the service charge was collected.

Water Act

WATER (MINISTERIAL) AMENDMENT REGULATION

Filed: November 15, 2004

Made by the Minister of Environment (M.O. 24/2004) on November 9, 2004 pursuant

to sections 18 and 170 of the Water Act.

1 The Water (Ministerial) Regulation (AR 205/98) is

amended by this Regulation.

Section 72 is repealed and the following is substituted:

Temporary permission transitional

72(1) On the coming into force of the Water Act, a temporary

permission to divert water under the Water Resources Act that is,

by order of the Minister under

section 18(4)(

a) of the Water Act,

deemed to be a licence under the Water Act expires on December

31, 2006.

(2) A deemed licence described in subsection (1) is not a

renewable licence under the Water Act.

Section 76 is amended by striking out "December 31, 2004"

and substituting "March 31, 2010".
