I, Doug Donaldson, Minister of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development, order that

(

a) the Hunting Regulation, B.C. Reg. 190/84, is amended as set out in the attached Appendix 1, and

(

b) the Limited Entry Hunting Regulation, B.C. Reg. 134/93, is amended as set out in the attached Appendix 2.

Appendix 1

Section 13 of the Hunting Regulation, B.C. Reg. 190/84, is repealed.

Section 18 (2) (

a) is amended by striking out “ lynx, grizzly bear or cougar, ” and substituting “ lynx or cougar, ”.

Section 9 of

Part 2 of

Schedule 1 is amended

(

a) in subsection (1) by striking out “ for grizzly bear or black bear ” and substituting “ for black bear ”, and

(

b) in subsection (2) by striking out “ on grizzly bear or black bear ” and substituting “ for black bear ”.

Section 5 of

Part 2 of

Schedule 5 is repealed.

Section 4 of

Part 2 of

Schedule 6 is repealed.

Appendix 2

Section 1 (1) of the Limited Entry Hunting Regulation, B.C. Reg. 134/93, is amended by repealing the

definitions of “adult grizzly bear” , “fall grizzly bear hunt” and “spring grizzly bear hunt” .

Section 4 (1) (

c) and (3.1) is repealed.

Section 8.1 is amended

(

a) in subsection (1) in paragraph (

a) of the definition of “previous recipient” by striking out “ grizzly bear, ”, and

(

b) in subsection (4) (

a) by striking out “ grizzly bear, ”.

Schedule 1 is amended by repealing items 80 to 87, 236 to 239, 361 to 368, 373, 375 to 391, 584 to 597, 622 to 683, 862 to 955 and 1101.

Schedule II is amended by repealing the following maps:
