OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health and Wellness and the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal and dated October 20, 2020, and pursuant to

Section 77 of

Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2010, the Finance Act, and

Section 16 of

Chapter 197 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Health Services and Insurance Act , and in accordance with the Department of Health and Wellness Capital Grants Program, is pleased to approve the making of a grant by the Minister of Health and Wellness on behalf of the Province in the total amount not to exceed two million, seven hundred thousand dollars ($2,700,000.00) over the next three fiscal years to the Nova Scotia Health Authority to complete functional programming, a facility feasibility study, facility assessments, site investigations, schematic design and design development for the redevelopment of Emergency Department and the investigation of an addition of up to a 12-Station Dialysis Unit at Cumberland Regional Health Care Center, effective on and after December 1, 2020.
