Statute: Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Public Works dated April 10, 2024, and pursuant to

Section 11 of

Chapter 452 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act , is pleased to: (

a) authorize the Minister of Public Works to sell and convey a parcel of surplus land, Lot 4, containing an area of 9,365.27 square metres (2.31 acres), located at or near Salem Road, Greenhill, Pictou County, more particularly described in

Schedule “A” and as shown on

Schedule “B” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, for market value; (

b) authorize the Minister of Public Works to make and execute a Deed of Conveyance in such form as the Minister determines to effect the conveyance of the land herein above described; and (

c) authorize the Minister of Public Works to execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
