Order in Council 2/2024

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to subsection 32(2) of the Human Rights Code and subsection 16(4) of the Adjudicative Tribunals Accountability, Governance and Appointments Act, 2009 , Karen Mason of Hamilton be appointed as full-time member and vice-chair of the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario for a fixed term of two years, effective the date this Order in Council is made.

Further,

whereas Karen Mason was reappointed as full-time member of the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario for a fixed term of one year, effective March 25, 2023 by Order in Council O.C. 213/2023;

Therefore, Order in Council O.C. 213/2023 be revoked effective the date this Order in Council is made.
