In general terms, the purpose of the Municipal Plan Amendment No.6, 2005, is to ad d policy to the Residential Land Use Policies dealing with development in steep slope areas and re-designate an area of land along the north side of Main Street, Route 450, from Open Space to Residential. Development Regulations Am endment No. 6, 2005 will add a condition to the Resident ial Land Use Zone Table to develop in areas with steep slopes and re-zone the same area of land from Open Space to Residential.

The Town of Mount Moriah Municipal Plan Amendment No. 6, 2005 and Development Regulations Amendment No. 6, 2005, comes into effect on the day that this notice is published in The Newfoundland and Labrador Gazette.
