OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated October 1, 2025, and pursuant to clauses 16(1)(

a) and (

b) of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to approve the Minister of Natural Resources: (

a) selling Crown lands currently identified as PID 25521949 containing approximately 212.294 hectares (524.6 acres) located in East Leicester, Cumberland County, and shown outlined in bold as Parcel P-034/25-1 on

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, to the Town of Oxford, or its approved successors or assigns, for the nominal consideration of $1.00; (

b) granting an easement to the Town of Oxford, or its approved successors or assigns, for the nominal consideration of $1.00, for Crown lands currently identified as PIDs 25260399, 25479973, 25260571, 25125378 and 25260530 shown outlined in bold as Parcel P-034/25-2 on

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation; and (

c) executing such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
