Order in Council 1692/2019

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas Jonathan Batty was appointed as full-time member and Associate Chair of the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario for a fixed term ending October 3, 2021 by Order in Council O.C. 1238/2019;

And

whereas Jonathan Batty was reappointed as full-time member and Associate Chair of the Licence Appeal Tribunal for a fixed term of two years, effective October 4, 2019, by Order in Council O.C. 1150/2019;

And

whereas Jonathan Batty tendered his resignation effective November 23, 2019;

Therefore, pursuant to clause 77(

a) of the Legislation Act, 2006 , subsection 16(2) of the Adjudicative Tribunals Accountability, Governance and Appointments Act, 2009 , subsection 32(2) of the Human Rights Code and subsection 2(3) of the Licence Appeal Tribunal Act, 1999 , Orders in Council O.C. 1238/2019 and 1150/2019 be revoked effective November 23, 2019.
