STATUTES CORRECTION REGULATION, 2006

Corrections to Ministry of Labour and Citizens' Services statutes

1 The following statutes are corrected as set out in the attached Schedule:

(

a) Employment Standards Act ;

(

b) Legislative Assembly Allowances and Pension Act ;

(

c) Workers Compensation Act .

Schedule

Employment Standards Act

Section 1 (1) of the Employment Standards Act , R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 113, is amended in the definition of "insolvency Act" by striking out " Winding-up Act (Canada);" and substituting " Winding-up and Restructuring Act (Canada);".

Legislative Assembly Allowances and Pension Act

Section 8 (2) of the Legislative Assembly Allowances and Pension Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 257, is amended by striking out "in addition to amounts paid to that member under

section 4 (10)".

Workers Compensation Act

Section 21 (4) (

a) of the Workers Compensation Act , R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 492, is amended by striking out "(Canada)".
