Loi sur la Cour provinciale Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as fol- lows: Sa Majesté, sur l’avis et avec le consentement de l’As- semblée législative du Nouveau-Brunswick, édicte : 1 Subsection 2(3) of the Provincial Court Act,

chapter P-21 of the Revised Statues, 1973, is amended by striking out “ten” and substituting “7”. 1 Le paragraphe 2(3) de la

chapitre P-21 des Lois révisées de 1973, est modifié par la suppression de « dix » et son remplacement par « sept ». 2

Section of the Act is amended L’article de la Loi est modifié (

a) by repealing subsection (2) and substituting the following:

a) par l’abrogation du paragraphe (2) et son rem- placement par ce qui suit : 12(2) An oath or affirmation shall be taken and sub- scribed or made and subscribed before 12(2) Le serment est prêté ou l’affirmation est faite est prêté ou faite (

a) the Chief Justice of New Brunswick, in the case of the chief judge and the associate chief judge, and

b) the chief judge, in the case of any other judge.

Section does not apply to the appointment of the person who holds the office of chief judge or associate chief judge if the appointment was made before the com- mencement of this section. 4 L’article ne saurait s’appliquer aux personnes qui ont été nommées aux postes de juge en chef et de juge en chef associé avant l’entrée en vigueur du présent article.
