B.C. Reg. 203/2006, deposited July 13, 2006, pursuant to the ENERGY EFFICIENCY ACT [Section 6 (2)]. Order in Council 503/2006, approved and ordered July 13, 2006.
On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that the Energy Efficiency Standards Regulation, B.C. Reg. 389/93, is amended as set out in the attached Appendix.

Appendix
Section 7 of the Energy Efficiency Standards Regulation, B.C. Reg. 389/93, is amended
(
a) in subsection (2) by striking out "items 1 and 26"
and substituting "item 1",
(
b) in subsection (6) by striking out "8,", and
(
c) by adding the following subsections:
(11) For items 8, 26 and 40 of
Schedule 1, the minimum efficiency level must not be less than the value set out in
Column 3 for the energy device opposite in Column 1, commencing on the date set out opposite in
Column 4.
(12) For items 37 and 38 of
Schedule 1, the efficiency level must be as described in
Column 3 for the energy device opposite in Column 1, commencing on the date set out opposite in
Column 4.
(13) For item 39 of
Schedule 1, the energy device described in
Column 1 must be tested and rated according to the standard set out in Column 2, and a label indicating the rating must be affixed to the energy device so that it is easily and readily seen without the need to remove any covering.
2 Sections 8 (3) and (4) and 9 are repealed.
Schedule 1 is amended
(
a) by deleting item 8 and replacing it with item 8 as set out in the attached Schedule,
(
b) by adding new items 37 to 40 as set out in the attached Schedule,
(
c) by striking out "British Thermal Units per hour"
wherever it appears and substituting "BTU/h", and
(
d) by adding the following note at the end:
BTU/h = British Thermal Units per hour.
