OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Communities, Culture and Heritage dated March 22, 2011, and pursuant to
Section 10 of
Chapter 254 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Libraries Act, is pleased to: (a)\x09 appoint Jadine Sherman of Coldbrook, Kings County, as a member of the Annapolis Valley Regional Library Board for a term of office of three years effective May 3, 2011; and (b)\x09 order that the Province shall defend, negotiate or settle claims or charges made against Jadine Sherman and indemnify her from personal liability in connection with any such claim, provided that the Province is satisfied that the claim arises out of her activities in relation to her appointment, and is not based on fraud or criminal activity, and where the Province so defends her, the Province will be in control of the case.
