The Act requires certain information to be tabled in the Asse m- bly when a government bill is introduced. The information must include, among other things, a statement describing the problem that the bill seeks to address, a description of the public policy goals that the bill seeks to achieve, and a summary of the fina n- cial costs that the bill would have on the government, municipal- ities, the public and any affected industries or businesses. La Loi exige que ce r- tains renseignements soient déposés devant l ’Assemblée lors du dépôt d’un projet de loi émanant du gouvernement. Ces rensei- gnements doivent comprendre notamment une description du problème que vise à régler le projet de loi, une description des objectifs d’intérêt public que le pro jet de loi vise à atteindre et un sommaire des coûts financiers que le p rojet de loi en traînera pour le gouvernement, les municipalités, le public et les indu s- tries ou entreprises concernées.
