OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture dated December 19, 2025, and pursuant to

Section 26 of

Chapter 25 of the Acts of 1996, the Fisheries and Coastal Resources Act , and not withstanding any previous Orders in Council setting remuneration for the members of the Fisheries and Aquaculture Loan Board, is pleased, effective January 20, 2026, to order that: (

a) the Chair of the Fisheries and Aquaculture Loan Board be remunerated for their service in the amount of three hundred dollars ($300.00) per day, or one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) for meetings lasting less than four (4) hours, and be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in fulfilling duties as Chair, provided such reimbursements do not exceed those normally payable to members of the civil service; (

b) the Vice-chair of the Fisheries and Aquaculture Loan Board be remunerated for their service in the amount of two hundred seventy-five dollars ($275.00) per day, or one hundred thirty-seven dollars and fifty cents ($137.50) for meetings lasting less than four (4) hours, and be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in fulfilling duties as Vice-chair, provided such reimbursements do not exceed those normally payable to members of the civil service; and (

c) the Directors of the Fisheries and Aquaculture Loan Board be remunerated for their service in the amount of two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) per day, or one hundred twenty-five dollars ($125.00) for meetings lasting less than four (4) hours, and be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in fulfilling duties as Director, provided such reimbursements do not exceed those normally payable to members of the civil service.
