B.C. Reg. 124/2018 , deposited June 22, 2018, under the FOREST ACT [sections 151 and 151.1], the FOREST AND RANGE PRACTICES ACT [section 141] and the GREAT BEAR RAINFOREST (FOREST MANAGEMENT) ACT [section 21]. Order in Council 309/2018, approved and ordered June 22, 2018.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective June 25, 2018,

(

a) the Administrative Boundaries Regulation, B.C. Reg. 137/2014, is amended as set out in the attached Schedule,

(b)

section 1 (1) of the Forest Planning and Practices Regulation, B.C. Reg. 14/2004, is amended in the definition of “Coast” by striking out “ Coast Mountain ” and substituting “ Coast Mountains ”, and

(

c) the Great Bear Rainforest (Forest Management) Regulation, B.C. Reg. 327/2016, is amended

(

i) in

section 6 (1) (

b) by striking out “ Coast Mountain ” and substituting “ Coast Mountains ”, and

(ii) in

section 26 (

a) and (

c) by striking out “ TFL area ” and substituting “ the TFL area ”.

Schedule

Section 4 (1) and (2) of the Administrative Boundaries Regulation, B.C. Reg. 137/2014, is repealed and the following substituted:

(1) The Omineca Forest Region is continued, having the boundaries shown on the map published on the following website:

ftp://ftp.luco.gov.bc.ca/outgoing/FLNRO_Admin_Bdry/FLNRO_ Boundaries_Pub_Forests_Omineca_20180625.pdf.

(2) The following forest districts are continued or established, having the boundaries shown on the map referred to in subsection (1):

(

a) the Mackenzie Forest District is continued;

(

b) the Prince George Forest District is continued;

(

c) the Stuart Nechako Forest District is established.

Section 5 (2) (

a) is amended by striking out “ Coast Mountain ” and substituting “ Coast Mountains ”.
