Order in Council 450/2019

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to subsections 2(2), 5(1), and 8(1) of the Executive Council Act, and despite any provision of a statute or Order in Council, responsibility for the administration of the Motor Vehicle Accident Claims Act is hereby assigned and transferred from the Minister of Finance to the Minister of Government and Consumer Services effective April 1, 2019.

Further, Appendix B of Order in Council O.C. 1150/2018 dated October 22, 2018 and Appendix A of Order in Council O.C. 1152/2018 dated October 22, 2018 are hereby revised and shall be interpreted accordingly.
