Order in Council 1739/2024

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas , Michael Lindsay has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Metrolinx under Order in Council 1602/2024 for a period not extending beyond June 30, 2025,

And

whereas Michael Lindsay has taken a secondment from his position as Chief Executive Officer of the Ontario Infrastructure and Lands Corporation to Metrolinx commencing December 16 th , 2024.

Therefore, pursuant to

section 14(5) of the Metrolinx Act, 2006 , S.O. 2006, c. 16, Michael Lindsay is authorized to be paid the following remuneration and benefits during the tenure of his appointment as Chief Executive Officer of Metrolinx commencing December 16, 2024:

An annual salary of $ 686,566, per annum, less applicable deductions.

Benefits in accordance with the benefits plan applicable to him as the Chief Executive Officer of Ontario Infrastructure and Lands Corporation.

Further, Order in Council O.C. 1350/2020 is hereby revoked.

And further, this Order comes into effect on the Approved and Ordered date below.
