Statute: Agricultural Marshland Conservation Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture dated May 12, 2025, and pursuant to

Section 7 of

Chapter 22 of the Acts of 2000, the Agricultural Marshland Conservation Act , is pleased to: (

a) reappoint Shawn Davidson and Robert Palmeter, both of Kings County as members of the Agricultural Marshland Conservation Commission, both for a term of three years commencing June 3, 2025; (

b) appoint Austen Michael Lowe Knowles of Hants County as a member of the Agricultural Marshland Conservation Commission for a term of three years commencing June 3, 2025; and (

c) order that Shawn Davidson, Robert Palmeter, and Austen Michael Lowe Knowles be remunerated in the amount of $100.00 per day and be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in fulfilling duties as members of the Agricultural Marshland Conservation Commission, provided such reimbursements do not exceed those normally payable to members of the civil service.
