OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Labour dated September 5, 2000, pursuant to subsections 68(1), (2), (3), (4), (5), (7), (10) and (11) of

Chapter 7 of the Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1996, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, is pleased to: (

a) appoint Gerardette Brown of New Waterford, Cape Breton Regional Municipality, and Kelly Marchand of Hammonds Plains, Halifax Regional Municipality, as employee representatives, to the list of persons from which an appeal panel may be designated for three (3) year terms of office effective October 1, 2000, and ending September 30, 2003; (

b) appoint Kenneth Stevens of Dartmouth, Halifax Regional Municipality, as an employer representative, to the list of persons from which an appeal panel may be designated for a three (3) year term of office effective October 1, 2000, and ending September 30, 2003; and (

c) fix the remuneration of Geradette Brown, Kelly Marchand and Kenneth Stevens at one hundred and fifty dollars ($150.00) for each day of attendance to the business of appeal panels, in addition to reasonable expenses incurred in the course of carrying out their duties for an appeal panel.
