OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Energy dated November 30, 2010, and pursuant to

Section 6 of

Chapter 376, of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act is pleased to:

a) approve a memorandum of understanding between the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador and the Government of Nova Scotia respecting industrial and employment benefits arising from the development of the Muskrat Falls Hydroelectric Plant, the Labrador-Island Link and the Maritime Link transmission projects; and

b) authorize the Minister of Energy to execute the form of Memorandum of Understanding set forth in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, or one to like effect.
