Appointment under Labour Board Act Interpretation Act — Robin Clark of Halifax Regional Municipality (Hammonds Plains) as an employee member of the Labour Board for a term of office of 3 years commencing March 25 as an employee member of the Labour Board for a term of office of 3 years commencing March 25, 2014; (c) re-appoint Linda Power, Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as an employee member of the Labour Board for a term of office of 3 years commencing March 25, 2014; (d) appoint Wayne Thomas of Pictou, Pictou County, as an employee member of the Labour Board for a term of office of 3 years commencing March 25, 2014; (e) re-appoint Patrick Bourque of River Bourgeois, Richmond County, as an employer member of the Labour Board for a term of office of 3 years commencing March 25, 2014; (f) appoint Marie Brunelle of Antigonish, Antigonish County, as an employer member of the Labour Board for a term of office of 3 years commencing March 25, 2014; (g) fix the remuneration of each of the employer and employee members of the Labour Board in the following aggregate amounts, payable to each for their service as an employer or employee member of the Labour Board: (i) $200.00 per day for each day the member conducts a hearing as a member or participates in necessary training; (ii) $150.00 per day for each day the member necessarily attends to the business of the Labour Board, as a member, except while conducting a hearing or participating in necessary training; (iii) such actual and reasonable expenses as may be incurred by the member in the discharge of their duties, provided such reimbursements do not exceed those normally paid to members of the civil service; and (h) revoke the appointment of Charmaine Mullins of Halifax Regional Municipality (Eastern Passage) as an employer member of the Labour Board

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Labour and Advanced Education dated February 19, 2014, and pursuant to Sections 3, 5 and 6 of
Chapter 37 of the Acts of 2010, the Labour Board Act , and
Section 18 of the
Interpretation Act , is pleased to: (
a) appoint Robin Clark of Halifax Regional Municipality (Hammonds Plains) as an employee member of the Labour Board for a term of office of 3 years commencing March 25, 2014; (
b) appoint Gordon Keeling of Kentville, Kings County, as an employee member of the Labour Board for a term of office of 3 years commencing March 25, 2014; (
c) re-appoint Linda Power, Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as an employee member of the Labour Board for a term of office of 3 years commencing March 25, 2014; (
d) appoint Wayne Thomas of Pictou, Pictou County, as an employee member of the Labour Board for a term of office of 3 years commencing March 25, 2014; (
