OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice and Attorney General dated October 7, 1998, pursuant to subsection 2(1) of

Chapter 39 of the Statutes of Canada, 1995, the Firearms Act,

Section 7 of c.I-21 Am. of the Revised Statutes of Canada, 1985, the

Interpretation Act, and clause 3(

e) of

Chapter 155 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Executive Council Act, is pleased to designate the Minister of Justice and Attorney General as the provincial minister for the purposes of the Firearms Act, effective October 28, 1998.
