MITCHELL First Reading Second Reading Committee of the Whole Third Reading Royal Assent Title: 1992 (22nd, 4th) Bill 310, Forest Industry Development Administration Act Bill Mr. Mitchell BILL FOREST INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATION ACT (Assented to , 1992) HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, enacts as follows: 1(1) The Department of Forestry Lands and Wildlife Act is amended by this section.

(2) The following is added after

section 2: "The Department shall not administer forest industry development." 2(1) The Department of Economic Development and Trade Act is amended by this section.

section 2: 2.1 The Department shall be responsible for the administration of forest industry development. 1 Explanatory Notes This amendment will remove the Forest Industry Development Division from the administration of the Department of Forestry Lands and Wildlife. 2 This amendment will transfer forest industry development to the administration of the Department of Economic Development and Trade. 1 Title: 1992 (22nd, 4th) Bill 310, Forest Industry Development Administration Act
