An Act to amend The Savings Certificates Act. (Assented to , 1936.) HIS MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of Alberta, enacts as follows: 1. This Act may be cited as "The Savings Certificates Act Amendment Act, 1936." 2. The Savings Certificates Act, being

chapter of the Revised Statutes of Alberta, 1922, is hereby amended by adding at the end thereof the following new section: "9.

Any savings certificate or other security therefor issued under the provisions of this Act shall be assignable by the holder thereof executing an assignment in a form to be approved by the Lieutenant Governor in Council, and upon the due completion of such form by the holder of such savings certificate or other security therefor and the filing with the Provincial Treasurer of same, together with such savings certificate or other security therefor so assigned, then such savings certificate or other security therefor so assigned shall be registered in the name of the assignee either by a notation to that effect on the back of such savings certificate or other security therefor, duly com pleted by the Provincial Treasurer, or by the issue of a new savings certificate or other security therefor in lieu thereof, and such assignee shall thereupon be treated as the holder of such savings certificate or other security therefor." 3.
