Statute: Expropriation Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal dated September 15, 2016, and pursuant to

Section 80 of

Chapter 156 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Expropriation Act , is pleased to: (

a) convey a parcel of land known as “Wilfred Swift Drive”, containing an area of 13,000 square feet, more or less, located at or near Seabrook, County of Digby, more particularly described in

Schedule “A” and outlined in red on

Schedule “B”, which Schedules are attached to and form part of the Report and Recommendation, to the Municipality and Town of Digby Industrial Commission for the nominal consideration of $1.00; (

b) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to make, execute, and deliver a deed of conveyance in such form as the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal determines to effect the conveyance of the land; and (

c) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to execute all documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
