OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Lands and Forestry dated October 30, 2018, and pursuant to clause 7(

a) of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act , is pleased to approve the Minister of Lands and Forestry: (

a) acquiring by gift approximately 11.8 hectares (29.16 acres) of land, located at Barkhouse Settlement, Halifax County, Nova Scotia, being identified as PIDs 40501512 and 40501520 and outlined in bold on the map marked

Schedule “A”, which is attached to and forms part of the Report and Recommendation, from Roger Aggas and Gordon Sears, their respective executors, heirs, trustees, administrators and approved successors and assigns, subject to the condition that Roger Aggas and Gordon Sears, their respective executors, heirs, trustees, administrators and approved successors and assigns, be able to certify title to the land in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice, (

b) paying such legal or other costs incurred with respect to acquiring this land by gift; and (

c) executing such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
