Section of the English version of the Queen’s Counsel and Precedence Act,

chapter of the Re- vised Statutes, 2012, is amended by striking out “as he or she considers” and substituting “as the Lieutenant- Governor considers”. 1 L’article de la version anglaise de la

Section of the English version of the Act is amended by striking out “of his or her appointment” and substituting “of the person’s appointment”. 2 L’article de la version anglaise de la Loi est mo- difié par la suppression de « of his or her appoint- ment » et son remplacement par « of the person’s appointment ». 3 The Act is amended by adding after

section the following: 3 La Loi est modifiée par l’adjonction de ce qui suit après l’article 2 : Revocation of Queen’s Counsel Révocation des conseillers de la Reine 2.1(1) If a person appointed as Her Majesty’s Counsel is disbarred in accordance with the Law Society Act, 1996, the appointment is automatically revoked on the date of the disbarment. 2.1(1) Si une personne nommée conseiller de la Reine est radiée conformément à la Loi de sur le Bar- reau, sa nomination est révoquée automatiquement à la date de la radiation. 2.1(2) If a person appointed as Her Majesty’s Counsel was disbarred in accordance with the Law Society Act, 1996 or a predecessor of that Act before the commence- ment of this section, the appointment is automatically re- voked on the commencement of this section. 2.1(2) Si une personne nommée conseiller de la Reine a été radiée avant l’entrée en vigueur du présent article, et ce, conformément à la Loi de sur le Barreau ou d’une loi que cette loi a remplacée, sa nomination est ré- voquée automatiquement à l’entrée en vigueur du pré- sent article. 1 Subsection 4(1) of the English version of the Act is amended by striking out “if he or she considers” and substituting “if the Lieutenant-Governor considers”. 4 Le paragraphe 4(1) de la version anglaise de la Loi est modifié par la suppression de « if he or she consi- ders » et son remplacement par « if the Lieutenant- Governor considers ».
