Order in Council 728/2020

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to subsection 4(4) of the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation Act, 1999 , the Minister of Finance is hereby authorized to guarantee, on behalf of Ontario and on such conditions as he considers proper, the repayment of one or more loans by the Ontario Financing Authority to the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (the “Corporation”) of up to $500,000,000 in the aggregate, together with interest on the loan or loans, for the purpose of providing the Corporation with short-term financing for operating and working capital expenses.
